The high-strength ABS case and rubber/stainless steel strap keep the construction ultra-light, with a buckle closure and shock resistance suited to active everyday use. Water resistance is rated at 50 meters and is suitable for hand washing and swimming. The buttons should not be pressed underwater, and the watch should not be worn during prolonged underwater activities. Battery life is rated at more than five years.
